Planning the visit

Approach your local OpenInnoTrain contact person (the project representative at your organisation) and your future host to define the secondment period, duration (minimum 30 days) and work plan. If you don't know who the contact person is, reach out to us (info@openinnotrain.eu) and we will introduce you to them!

Before the secondment

Your local OpenInnoTrain representative must create your researcher’s profile and draft your Researcher Declaration on the European Commission Participant Portal to get your identification number. Important: make sure the dates entered in the Researcher Declaration correspond to your actual stay and can be verified!

Send to Elia Vallejos:

  • A profile picture for OpenInnoTrain website and other communication tools.
  • A short bio or summary of your research interests.
  • The signed Release Form where you consent to promote your profile on OpenInnoTrain media.
