Michele has more than 30 publications in high impact international journals as well as several communications in national/international conferences in the field of the non-linear computational mechanics, with emphasis in numerical simulation of coupled thermo-mechanical problems, such as casting analysis including filling, solidification and cooling processes. An extensive experience has been also demonstrated within frictional contact problems, finite deformation plasticity and metal forming processes, such as EB welding, FSW, Shape metal deposition, stamping or deep drawing processes.

He has participated in more than 60 international conferences either as a keynote speaker or as an invited participant.

Michele has also participated in several international and national financed projects, mainly related with the numerical simulation of industrial manufacturing processes.
