I am a research assistant and doctoral student at the Institute for Technology and Innovation Management at Hamburg University of Technology, and my research interest lies in the transition of organisations to Circular Economy (CE).

During my first Secondment (Porto) I had the opportunity to engage with and learn from business owners, consultants and employees from the field of CE.

Since Porto is part of the EU Circular Cities Declarations, I was able to experience first hand how CE is implemented in the real world. Being in Porto allowed me to interact with key contacts in the CE transition project, which will help me expand my network for future research opportunities.

Overall, my stay in Porto allowed me to get hands-on experience and to expand my professional and personal horizons.

I am already looking forward to my next Secondment!
