Summer School 2023: All about becoming an impact champion

The 2023 edition of OpenInnoTrain’s Summer School for learning about the importance, theory and practice of research impact in academia and industry.

OpenInnoTrain 2023 Summer School is aimed at PhD Students and Early-Career Researchers (ECRs). This year it is all about creating impact from research and becoming an impact champion!

The summer school will take place, 12-16 June in Vienna, Austria, and welcomes applications from all over the world and across disciplines. Please note: this is an onsite event (in-person only).

A Certificate of Participation and 2 ECTS from the University of Vaasa will be given upon completion of the full course and a brief assessment.

OpenInnoTrain 2023 Summer School offers an excellent opportunity for participants to develop skills for creating impact and to design their own research impact journey. Participants will learn how to identify and contextualize the impact of their research, engage with stakeholders, track impact outputs, and communicate real-world impact. The Summer School is a great place to build new connections and explore future collaborations.

Participation in the Summer School is at no cost to the participant (free of charge). Participants must however cover their own transport to, accommodation, and living expenses whilst in Vienna.
