OpenInnoTrain Sessions at ISPIM 2022 in Copenhagen

OpenInnoTrain was represented at this year’s ISPIM Innovation Conference.

Our Academic Lead and Chief Investigator, Prof. Anne-Laure Mention attended the conference, where she acted as a panellist on Digital X, led by Abayomi Baiyere of Copenhagen Business School, and shared views on opportunities and challenges for research and practice. She also interviewed Dr. Christian Bason, CEO of DCC-Danish Design Center, on his new volume: “Expand: Stretching the Future by Design”.

Dr. Svenja Damberg, seconded from the Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) to Carlsberg presented “Stategies for Circular Economy Implementation", about her OpenInnoTrain-developed research project where she collect data during secondments (Wednesday 8th June, from 9:00 – 10:30. Room: Helsinki).

Dr. Jesper Harholt, from Carlsberg, organised a very interesting panel discussion titled: “The Danish Foundation Model–Supporting Innovation and Research for the Greater Good", that explored topics such as the missions of the different foundations, their funding model via company ownership, how they support innovation and research, and what their areas of focus are (Wednesday 8th June, from 12:00 – 12:45. Room: Helsinki-Oslo & Online).

Dr. Ahmad Alaassar was one of the three finalists of the ISPIM Dissertation Award with his work on “A Phenomenon-driven Exploration of Regulatory Sandboxes in FinTech Entrepreneurial Ecosystems". The winner was announced during the ISPIM dinner at Copenhagen City Hall (Tuesday 7th June, from 19:00 – 22:00. Copenhagen City Hall).

Such a great opportunity to go back to in person conferences and foster the interactions among OpenInnoTrain partners and secondees.
