Seminar Abstract:

In this seminar, Cristina Barbosa will explore how to:

• involve stakeholders to co-create innovative, sustainable and resilient innovation communities

• transform an innovation culture into a social innovation culture in organisations

• foster social and sustainable.

Cristina's Bio:

Cristina Barbosa is an assistant researcher and consultant in the Centre for Innovation, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (CITE) at INESC TEC. She has more than 13 years of professional experience as a consultant in the areas of Innovation Management and Public Procurement.

Since 2016, she works as an Advisory Expert for the Enterprise Europe Network supporting business innovation, international partnerships and international growth of Portuguese SMEs, Scaleups, Start-ups, Researchers and Entrepreneurs.

Cristina has been also involved, since 2020, with EIT Jumpstarter programme and the KIC EIT Manufacturing, a cross-industrial pre-acceleration of the European Institute of Innovation & Technology (EIT), as a local trainer, mentor and programme facilitator. In 2022, she was involved in three annual activities promoted by the regional innovation scheme of EIT Manufacturing – Demo4Green (Green Manufacturing: Demonstrating technologies to fight Climate Change), GreenMA (Green Manufacturing Accelerator) and Tech2Market (Technology to Market for Competitive Manufacturing in Europe).

She holds a M.S. in Innovation and Technological Entrepreneurship, a B.S. in Information Science from the University of Porto; an Interdisciplinary Post-Graduation in Human Rights (a postgraduate training on Law, Education, Psychology and Social Economics) from the Universidade Católica Portuguesa. Also, a Climate-KIC Professional Education training on «Greening Your Business – Embedding Sustainability into Business Model Innovation» from Bologna Business School.
