OpenInnoTrain STREM

The OpenInnoTrain STREM (Students/Researchers/Managers Seminar) took a multilevel network approach in which local companies presented a problem that the participants worked to solve in teams.

After a session contextualizing the OpenInnoTrain Project, the two participating companies, and the two challenges that they presented; the participants were divided in four groups in which they had a few hours to develop a solution for one of the two problems presented. The event concluded with the pitches from the participants, that presented four creative and very well-developed solutions. The judges had a very difficult decision to make after some great presentations – but they finally awarded the STREM prize to one of the teams targeting the ZOR Thermal challenge. 

Participants, local coaches from INESC TEC and the judges from the local companies had a very positive and enriching experience. .
