Abstract Presentation at International Odyssey Conference 2023

On 12th May 2023, during the Odyssey Conference, several OpenInnoTrain secondees presented an abstract titled “How to Foster a Culture of Open Innovation".

This is a joint work by Georg Macher (Graz University of Technology), Rumy Narayan (University of Vaasa), Tiina Leino (University of Vaasa), Nikolina Dragicevic (University of Zagreb) and Omar Veledar (Graz University of Technology). This abstract presentation showcases a wide OpenInnoTrain collaboration, which has enabled the encounters of the different researchers involved through their secondments. 

The study that they presented aims to examine how different concepts from social, economic, and technological research on open innovation can be managed and combined to cope with expanding complexity effects and maximize societal impact. 

To achieve this, they have focused on the community of OpenInnoTrain that aimes at contributing to a better understanding of how and in what ways cultures interact and inform open innovation practices.
