Marco’s research interest focuses on the implementation of HR and strategic management principles to improve the decision-making processes of top management teams in uncertain or extreme environments to achieve a greater (societal) impact. He has been also recognised by the Australian government as an international “Distinguished Talent” in the field of emergency management. Since 2017, Dr. De Sisto has won several Learning & Teaching Awards, Research Awards and Research Impact Awards both at the Business School level and University level.
